Recognition Ceremony to be Held Friday, November 4th
 
NATCHITOCHES – A recognition ceremony will be held on Friday, November 4th to honor the 2022 Natchitoches Treasures.   The Natchitoches Treasures  are an elite group of Natchitoches residents of retirement age who have  made a lasting contribution to the community through their generosity,  service, volunteerism, and spirit.
 
The recognition ceremony will be held on Friday, November 4th,  at 11:00 a.m. at the Natchitoches Events Center, located at 750 Second  Street.  Light refreshments will be served. The public and the media are  invited to attend.
 
The 2022 Natchitoches Treasures were selected by a committee of those  who have previously been named a Natchitoches Treasure.  Natchitoches  Treasures have been selected each year since 2008.  The treasures are  selected from nominations received from members of the community.
 
The 2022 Natchitoches Treasures are Mr. Brad Ferguson, Former Sheriff  Victor Jones, Ms. Bobbye Lee, Dr. Chris Maggio, Mr. Warren Massia, and  Mr. Lisso Simmons.
 
The recognition ceremony will highlight the contributions made to the  City of Natchitoches and the community by each newly elected Treasure,  as well as pay tribute to those individuals named as Natchitoches  Treasures in years past.
