Congresswoman Julia Letlow, representing Louisiana’s 5th District since 2021, recently shared several insights and experiences through her social media presence. Born in Monroe, Louisiana, Letlow assumed office following Ralph Abraham and is a known advocate of higher education.

On April 3, 2025, Letlow remarked on border crossings, stating, “Under President Trump’s leadership, border crossings are dropping to record lows!”

In another update, dated April 4, 2025, she spent part of her day with esteemed educational leaders. Letlow shared, “Loved spending some time with @SLUPrez Wainwright and his team in DC this week to chat about our shared passion for higher education!”
