John Kennedy, U.S. Senator from Louisiana, posted a series of tweets on July 24, 2025, addressing topics ranging from media appearances to views on race and university leadership.

In his first post of the day, Kennedy commented on a recent media engagement: “It was a great time chatting with @ScottJenningsKY! Thanks for having me on the show (and for being a voice of common sense on TV every night!)” (July 24, 2025).

Later that afternoon, Kennedy shared his perspective on discussions about race in American society. He wrote: “Most Americans don’t think about race as much as people in Washington, D.C., do. They understand that souls don’t have a color—and that, to a bear, all of us taste like chicken.” (July 24, 2025).

Kennedy also addressed recent events at Columbia University regarding campus protests and administrative responses. He stated: “Columbia’s failed ‘leadership’ ran like a dog to the tree line when antisemites took over their campus. I’m glad we’re seeing real accountability for an institution that believes in diversity, equity, inclusion, and the right to harass Jewish people.” (July 24, 2025).

Senator John Kennedy has served Louisiana since 2017 and is known for his outspoken commentary on national issues and higher education controversies.
