U.S. Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana posted several messages on March 20, 2026, commenting on political discourse, congratulating a college basketball team, and reflecting on the legacy of Chuck Norris.

In a post from March 20, 2026, Kennedy wrote: “You can only be young once, but you can always be immature. Susan Rice’s threats about political payback prove that.”

Later the same day, Kennedy congratulated the McNeese State University men’s basketball team for their achievements: “Congrats to the @McNeeseMBB Cowboys on an outstanding season! 28 wins and three straight conference championships is something to be very proud of. I know Lake Charles and all of Louisiana are celebrating your success.” This message recognized the team’s athletic accomplishments and their impact on local pride.

In another post dated March 20, 2026, Kennedy paid tribute to Chuck Norris: “Chuck Norris was what cool looks like, and everybody knew it. He was an American icon who loved our country and our Constitution. His voice will be missed.”

Senator Kennedy serves as a Republican member representing Louisiana in the U.S. Senate. He holds top Republican positions on subcommittees for energy and water development as well as economic policy and is a member of Senate committees for appropriations, banking, budget, and judiciary according to his official website. Kennedy earned degrees including magna cum laude honors in political science, philosophy, and economics from Vanderbilt University; a law degree from the University of Virginia; and a Bachelor of Civil Law with first class honors from Oxford University. He has contributed to education as an adjunct professor and substitute teacher and authored works on Constitutional law and state legislation.
