Congresswoman Julia Letlow, representing Louisiana’s 5th district, recently shared her perspectives on local entrepreneurship, agriculture, and education through a series of tweets. Serving in the U.S. Congress since 2021, Letlow has been active in addressing issues pertinent to her constituents.
On May 7, 2025, Letlow expressed her support for local entrepreneurs by emphasizing their role in driving jobs and growth within Louisiana communities. She stated: “Our local entrepreneurs drive jobs and growth in our Louisiana communities. Their hard work and resilience should be supported, which is why I’m working to extend the Trump Tax Cuts and prevent a tax increase on small businesses.”
Later that day, Letlow highlighted agricultural developments under the leadership of Secretary Rollins. In her tweet she remarked: “From appointing an outstanding new Louisiana FSA Director in Craig McCain to delivering funding from my FARM Act to our farmers, @SecRollins is fighting hard for American Agriculture every day.”
On May 8, 2025, Letlow expressed pride in her alma mater’s efforts to address educational challenges. She noted: “Proud of my alma mater @ULM_Official for working to support our education systems by resolving Louisiana’s teacher shortage!”
