Congresswoman Julia Letlow, representing Louisiana’s 5th district since 2021, recently shared a series of tweets addressing national and local issues. Her social media activity reflects her engagement with historical recognition, agricultural advocacy, and public safety discussions.

On February 17, 2025, Letlow commemorated Presidents Day by acknowledging the contributions of past U.S. presidents: “On this Presidents Day, we honor the service of those who have held our nation’s highest office and shaped our great country for 248 years!”

Later that day, she highlighted the significance of Louisiana’s rice producers in bolstering both the national food supply and rural economy. Letlow expressed her support for Secretary Rollins to improve market access for American rice exports: “As a leading rice-producing region, our Louisiana producers play a key role in growing the national food supply and strengthening our rural economy.” She further stated her advocacy efforts: “As she hits the ground running, I’m advocating for @SecRollins to enhance access to foreign markets for American rice exports.”

On February 18, 2025, Letlow met with fire chiefs from across Louisiana to discuss challenges in public safety. She acknowledged their dedication: “Recently hosted fire chiefs from across Louisiana in my office to discuss the public safety challenges they face every day. Thankful for the work of these brave first responders to keep our communities safe!”
