Congresswoman Julia Letlow, representing Louisiana’s 5th district since 2021, shared insights on her recent engagements via social media. Her tweets highlight meetings with local leaders and discussions focused on community development and infrastructure.

On January 24, Letlow expressed enthusiasm for the commencement of DC Mardi Gras, mentioning a meeting with Mayor Friday Ellis and other local Monroe leaders. She remarked, “Loved kicking off DC Mardi Gras this week by meeting with Mayor Friday Ellis and other local leaders from Monroe! After securing millions in community funding projects, I look forward to providing more support for Monroe’s growth in the years ahead!”

Later that day, she posted about hosting officials from Livingston Parish to address infrastructure needs within her constituency. She noted, “Hosted state and local officials from Livingston Parish this week in my office to discuss crucial infrastructure needs facing our #LA05 communities. Thanks for stopping by!”

Continuing her focus on infrastructure, Letlow discussed Louisiana waterways with representatives from Port NOLA during their visit to Washington for Mardi Gras.
