On January 21, 2025, Congresswoman Letlow informed her followers about a state of emergency declared by Governor Jeff Landry due to dropping temperatures and snow in the region. She advised residents to stay alert and monitor weather forecasts. Letlow also provided “helpful tips and resources for warming centers within our district.”

On January 23, 2025, she expressed pride in voting for the Laken Riley Act, which was sent to President Trump for signing into law. In her tweet, Letlow emphasized that “Louisianans are deeply concerned about crime” and highlighted the importance of keeping criminal illegal immigrants off the streets.

Later on January 23, Congresswoman Letlow praised Dr. Ron Berry for his leadership at the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM), her alma mater. She noted that Dr. Berry has made a significant impact and expressed anticipation for his continued influence on future generations at ULM.
