ALEXANDRIA – Rapides Parish’s two Red River Athletic Conference programs will face off in the opening round of both the men’s and women’s postseason RRAC tournaments when the event begins Friday at the Rapides Parish Coliseum.
Louisiana Christian University’s men will open the tournament against LSU–Alexandria at 8 a.m. Friday. The women’s teams from each school will meet at 4:45 p.m. Friday.
The LCU men won their last two games to clinch the No. 5 seed in the tournament, drawing the Wildcats against No. 4 LSUA. LCU’s women secured the No. 3 seed in the tournament with a win Monday over Huston-Tillotson, drawing them against the No. 6-seeded Generals.
