Of the 5,773 people living in Leesville in 2020, 50.8 percent (2,933) were women and 49.2 percent (2,840) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Central Louisiana News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 45. In the 65 and over age range, there were 550 females and 430 males.
