We're kicking the work week off right.
The Central Louisiana Regional Chamber of Commerce will host a Congressional Update Luncheon featuring U.S. Representative Julia Letlow on today from 11:30am – 1:00 pm at the Alexandria Convention Center at Wyndham Garden, 2225 North MacArthur Drive.
Earlier this month, Congresswoman Letlow was selected to fill an open seat on the powerful House Committee on Appropriations. She also serves on the House Committee on Agriculture and the House Committee on Education and Labor. She took office in April 2021 and she is the first woman to represent Louisiana in the House of Representatives in 30 years.
“The Central Louisiana Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and I are excited to host Congresswoman Letlow in central Louisiana to inform local business leaders,” said Deborah Randolph, president of The Central Louisiana Regional Chamber of Commerce. “She has proven to be an advocate for economic development and growth in the region, reflecting a shared vision with local business leaders. We are truly grateful for the support that she shows our area.”
More than 300 registrants from Central Louisiana and beyond will attend this informative meeting with Congresswoman Letlow, including chamber members representing a variety of business and industry sectors, local government officials and higher education leaders.
Check back this afternoon for a recap of today's event and shared information presented by Congresswoman Letlow.
