The Central Louisiana Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for theClinics@lcu yesterday. theClinic@LCU is the fifth location of The Clinics.
theCLINICS was founded in 2012 by Doctors Buck, Screpetis, and McBride. They later were joined by Doctors Hollier, Saucier, Sunderhaus, Hunter, and Beurlot at their main campus at the corner of Macarthur and Bolton. Their physicians have a combined history in Central Louisiana going back to 1982, with 90,000 patients under their care. In addition, they have 12 nurse practitioners. New patients are welcome at any of the locations. Existing patients can be seen or have lab work or x-rays at any location convenient to them and avoid driving to Alexandria.
Current clinics include Alexandria, Marksville, Jena, Prairieville, and now Pineville. Patients can be seen the same day for an Acute Care condition or choose any of their NPs/MDs as their primary care provider. theCLINICS Family Practice MDs admit to Rapides Regional Medical Center, so you can be seen by your own doctor if admission is necessary. Their 20 providers and 100 employees are dedicated to your care, with lab and x-ray available onsite for your convenience between 6am and 6pm, depending on location.
