There were 29 Black students enrolled in Louisiana School for Math Science & the Arts School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 3.6% more than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Louisiana School for Math Science & the Arts School District welcomed 289 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Black students comprised 10% of the student body to be the second most represented ethnicity in the district.

Louisiana School for Math Science & the Arts School District roughly covers schools within Natchitoches Parish and has a main office in Natchitoches.

Louisiana School for Math Science & the Arts was the only school in the district which enrolled Black students, welcoming 29 students in the 2021-22 school year.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
