There were 1,970 students enrolled in Winn Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 0.7% more than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Out of the total students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 51.5% of them were boys, and 48.5% were girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, representing 59.2% of the Winn Parish School District total enrollment.

Winn Parish School District covers approximately six schools within Winn Parish, with its main office in Winnfield.

Among the six schools in Winn Parish School District, Winnfield Primary School recorded the highest enrollment of 433 students in the 2021-22 school year.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021-22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.
