2021-22 School Year Enrollment: 250 9th grade students welcomed in Grant Parish schools

There were 250 ninth grade students enrolled in Grant Parish schools in the 2021-22 school year, 9.2% more than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Grant High School welcomed the most ninth grade students in the parish.

Within Grant Parish schools, the most students were found in ninth grade classes, while 12th grade classes were the smallest.

Statewide, Grant Parish ranked 19th lowest in enrollment numbers. It was ranked 17th lowest the year before.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
