There were nine Hawaiian/Pacific Islander students enrolled in Rapides Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 52.6% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Rapides Parish School District welcomed 22,138 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Hawaiian/Pacific Islander students comprised 0% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the district.

Rapides Parish School District roughly covers schools within Rapides Parish and has a main office in Alexandria.

Among the 52 schools in Rapides Parish School District, Pineville High School, Northwood High School, and Phoenix Magnet Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Hawaiian/Pacific Islander students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of two students.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
