Enrollment Analysis: Multiracial students comprised 3% of Winn Parish's student body in 2023-24 school year

There were 54 multiracial students enrolled in Winn Parish schools in the 2023-24 school year, 8.5% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Winn Parish welcomed 1,811 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 3% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the parish.

Among the five schools within the parish, Winnfield Primary School recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2023-24 school year, with a total of 25 students.

Louisiana's educational performance is among the lowest in the nation, according to a WalletHub analysis. The state was ranked 47th overall, based on factors such as class size, student performance, funding, school safety, and teacher qualifications.
