Enrollment Analysis: American Indian students comprised 0.1% of Catahoula Parish's student body in 2023-24 school year

There was one American Indian student enrolled in Catahoula Parish schools in the 2023-24 school year, Infinity% more than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Catahoula Parish welcomed 936 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.1% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the parish.

Jonesville Elementary School was the only school in the parish which enrolled American Indian students, welcoming one student in the 2023-24 school year.

Louisiana's educational performance is among the lowest in the nation, according to a WalletHub analysis. The state was ranked 47th overall, based on factors such as class size, student performance, funding, school safety, and teacher qualifications.
