Enrollment Analysis: Hawaiian and Pacific Islander students comprised less than 0.1% of Natchitoches Parish's student body in 2023-24 school year

There was one Hawaiian and Pacific Islander student enrolled in Natchitoches Parish schools in the 2023-24 school year, 75% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Natchitoches Parish welcomed 5,214 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Hawaiian and Pacific Islander students comprised less than 0.1% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the parish.

Provencal Elementary & Junior High School was the only school in the parish which enrolled Hawaiian and Pacific Islander students, welcoming one student in the 2023-24 school year.

According to a 2023 Scholaroo study, Louisiana's educational performance is among the lowest in the nation, ranking second-to-last behind Arizona. The state ranked poorly in key metrics such as school quality, student achievement, and teacher-student ratios.
