Congresswoman Julia Letlow, representing Louisiana's 5th district, shared a series of tweets highlighting local events and her ongoing work in Congress. These tweets, posted between January 28 and January 30, 2025, cover topics from community events to a tragic incident in Washington D.C.

On January 28, Letlow celebrated "Restaurant Week" in Baton Rouge by encouraging residents to take advantage of discounted meals at top dining establishments until February 1. She provided further details on the event: "It’s Restaurant Week in Baton Rouge! Enjoy discounted meals at some of our Capital City’s finest dining establishments through February 1."

The following day, on January 29, Letlow reminded constituents about her e-newsletter subscription service. This service aims to keep subscribers informed about her legislative activities and initiatives for Louisiana's 5th Congressional District. She stated: "REMINDER: Subscribe to my e-newsletter to stay up to date on my work for Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District."

In response to a plane crash that occurred in Washington D.C., Letlow expressed her concern and offered prayers for the victims and first responders involved. On January 30, she wrote: "While we wait for more information, I’m praying for the victims of tonight’s plane crash in DC as well as the brave first responders conducting search and rescue operations."
