Congresswoman Julia Letlow, representing Louisiana's 5th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates and engagements through her social media platform. The posts reflect her active involvement with constituents and ongoing legislative concerns.

On March 14, 2025, Letlow engaged with students at Denham Springs High School. She expressed appreciation for their preparedness and interest in civics during a discussion about her committee roles and experiences as a single mother in Congress. "Chatted with a group of AP Gov students at Denham Springs High School, who came prepared with great questions about my committees and the perspective I bring to Congress as a single mother. Love to see young people interested in civics - it affects them too!"

Later that day, Letlow acknowledged a meeting with representatives from the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System based in Baton Rouge. The discussion focused on strategies to enhance healthcare quality for residents of Louisiana. "Thanks to my friends from the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System in Baton Rouge for stopping by my office this week. We had a productive discussion about improving the quality of health care for Louisianans."

In another update on March 14, Letlow informed constituents about progress regarding Social Security payments affected by past Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and Government Pension Offset (GPO) provisions. She provided resources for further information on her website. "Updated and retroactive payments are currently going out for Social Security beneficiaries affected by past WEP/GPO provisions. If you have questions or need more information, my website has all the latest!"
