Congresswoman Julia Letlow, representing Louisiana's 5th district, recently shared several statements on social media, addressing pressing national issues and personal stories of inspiration. As a serving member of the U.S. Congress, Letlow applies her platform to discuss matters ranging from immigration to athletic achievements.

On April 16, 2025, Letlow commented on the state of immigration and border security under President Trump's administration. She stated, "Illegal immigration continues to plummet as President Trump keeps his promise to secure the border and keep Americans safe. Enforcement works!"

The following day, Letlow expressed her admiration for Louisiana State University gymnast Konnor McClain. Reflecting on McClain's resilience, she shared, "I was touched by LSU gymnast Konnor McClain’s story of persevering through the tragic loss of her father to COVID-19, and how her teammates helped her find joy in gymnastics again. Cheering on Konnor and the entire @LSUgym squad as they kick off a Championship run tonight!"

Later that day, Letlow revisited the topic of immigration in contrast to the actions of national Democrats, writing, "While national Democrats are heading to El Salvador to defend illegal immigrants, President Trump and I remain laser-focused on securing the border and keeping our children safe."

Julian Letlow has served in U.S. Congress since 2021, following her tenure in the Louisiana House of Representatives. She replaced Ralph Abraham and hails from Monroe, Louisiana.
