WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced the Department of Transportation (DOT) will grant Louisiana a total of $78,147,718.00 from his Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) for transportation infrastructure and safety improvements.

"Because I had a seat at the table, Louisiana is punching far above its weight in funding from the Infrastructure Law," said Dr. Cassidy. "This funding will improve transportation infrastructure, reducing commute times and creating new jobs. By investing in Louisiana’s economy, we are making our state an attractive place for families to live and grow."
