U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) has announced that Louisiana will receive $17,041,367.95 in aid from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for Hurricane Ida and flood relief. The funding includes $14,004,936.90 for permanent repairs to the Municipal Traffic and Courts Building in New Orleans, which was severely damaged by Hurricane Ida.
