Of the 17,711 people living in Natchitoches in 2020, 53 percent (9,391) were women and 47 percent (8,320) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Central Louisiana News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 464. In the 65 and over age range, there were 1,217 females and 827 males.
