Chamber Welcomes New Membership Engagement Coordinator
Natchitoches, LA, June 13, 2022
The Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to introduce Nicolle Niette as their new Membership Engagement Coordinator. A graduate of the University of Cartagena, Colombia, Niette majored in Business Administration with a focus in Public Administration. While attending, Niette was a member of the University of Cartagena Orchestra and completed an internship in the university's Human Resources and Organizational Development department. She also completed a graduation project as a contractor/consultant for a local business, where she was solely responsible for developing their business plan, policy manual, and other administrative documentation.
Since moving to Natchitoches, Niette has been very active in the community, serving as an interpreter at the Women’s Resource Center and volunteering at events for the Natchitoches Parish Library.
In her new role at the Chamber, Niette will be responsible for coordinating and planning Chamber events, conferences, meetings, and engaging members in Chamber programs and initiatives. As the Membership Engagement Coordinator, Niette has absorbed the duties of the previous Events Coordinator position.
Chamber President, Laura Lyles, stated, “Nicolle has proven to be a tremendous asset to the team. We are excited to see her growth with the Chamber as the Chamber extends its services to the community”.

"Coming from a large city, I was initially surprised by everything that Natchitoches offers, from large employers, to small businesses, to full weekends of festivals, markets, and more! I feel blessed to be able to play a role in this, and I look forward to helping our area grow even more with the great team at the Natchitoches Chamber. I truly believe that as the Chamber is able to help each of our members to greater success, the entire community will see the benefits."
