U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy Announces $1.8 Million Grant for Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery

Washington - U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) made an important announcement today regarding the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Cemetery Administration (NCA) will be granting the cemetery a generous amount of $1,810,957.00 from the Veterans Cemetery Grants Program. This funding will play a crucial role in the expansion and improvement of the cemetery.

Dr. Cassidy expressed his deep respect and gratitude for the veterans who have been laid to rest in the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery. "The men and women who have been laid to rest in the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery served our country honorably," stated Dr. Cassidy. "This funding ensures that our veterans are taken care of even after they have left us."
