Census Bureau: 76.7% of people in Natchitoches Parish were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 37,896 citizens living in Natchitoches Parish in 2021, 76.7% were old enough to vote, equating to 29,071 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 13,597 were male, constituting 46.8%, and 15,474 were female, making up 53.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Natchitoches Parish during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 76.4%.
