75.1% of Rapides Parish residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 130,459 citizens living in Rapides Parish in 2021, 75.1% were old enough to vote, equating to 97,918 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 46,726 were male, constituting 47.7%, and 51,192 were female, making up 52.3%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Rapides Parish during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 76.4%.
