There were 98 American Indian students enrolled in Rapides Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 4.9% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Rapides Parish School District welcomed 22,138 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.4% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the district.

Among the 52 schools in Rapides Parish School District, Northwood High School recorded the highest enrollment of American Indian students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 13 students.
