There were 48 American Indian students enrolled in Avoyelles Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 2.1% more than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Avoyelles Parish School District welcomed 5,075 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.9% of the student body to be the third least represented ethnicity in the district.
