Cassidy Announces $4.1 Million for Louisiana in Hurricane Laura Relief

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Louisiana will receive $4,088,735.76 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in Hurricane Laura relief. The Office of Risk Management will receive $3,039,346.74 for the replacement of contents at the McNeese University campus in Lake Charles as a result of Hurricane Laura. Cameron Parish will receive $1,049,389.02 for permanent work to the water tower in District 10 as a result of Hurricane Laura.

"Hurricane Laura left a path of destruction across Southwest Louisiana, but our communities are stronger than any storm,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help McNeese University and Cameron Parish return to wholeness.”
