Cassidy announces nearly $1.9 million in hurricane relief for Louisiana

U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy announced that the South Louisiana Electric Cooperative Association is set to receive $1,880,864.92 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The funds are allocated for repairing streetlights and utility poles damaged by Hurricane Ida.

“It is great to see money coming to Louisiana to help our resilient communities continue to recover,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will allow our communities to return to wholeness.”
