Louisiana receives over $3.5 million for hurricane relief efforts

U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy has announced that Louisiana is set to receive over $3.5 million from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to aid in recovery efforts following Hurricanes Laura, Delta, and Ida. The exact amount allocated for this relief effort totals $3,568,827.01.

"Louisiana communities are resilient no matter the storm," stated Dr. Cassidy. "This funding will help with the continued recovery and return our communities back to wholeness."

The funds are intended to support ongoing recovery operations in affected areas across the state.
