Congresswoman Julia Letlow, representing Louisiana's 5th district, recently took to social media to share her engagements with key agricultural stakeholders and offer congratulations on a significant political nomination. Her tweets highlight discussions about agricultural policies and commendations for colleagues.

On November 20, Letlow expressed gratitude to the National Cotton Council for visiting her office. In her tweet, she noted the importance of their meeting: "Thank you to the @NCottonCouncil for stopping by our office today! We discussed opportunities for agriculture disaster relief and the critical need to pass the Farm Bill to help deliver certainty for our farmers and producers."

On November 23, Letlow shared insights from another meeting with representatives from USA Rice. She emphasized their discussion regarding legislative measures aimed at aiding farmers: "Always great to see folks from USA Rice stop in for a visit. We discussed the FARM Act and its potential to improve access to financial resources for our farmers and producers."

Later that day, Letlow extended congratulations to Lori Chavez-DeRemer on her nomination as U.S. Secretary of Labor under President Trump’s administration. She tweeted: "Congratulations to my dear friend @LChavezDeRemer on her nomination for U.S. Secretary of Labor. I’ve known Lori to be one of the most driven and intelligent leaders in Congress, and I know she will do an outstanding job supporting President Trump’s administration."
