U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy has announced that Louisiana will receive over $5.4 million from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The funds are designated for relief efforts related to Hurricane Laura, Hurricane Ida, and seawater intrusion.

"Louisiana is resilient," stated Dr. Cassidy. "This funding plays a crucial role in rebuilding our communities, strengthening our defenses against future hurricanes, and ensuring access to clean water for everyone."

The financial support aims to aid recovery and bolster infrastructure in the face of natural disasters affecting the state.
