U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy announced that the National Science Foundation (NSF) will provide an $8 million grant to the Louisiana Board of Regents. The funding is designated for the Louisiana Networks of Excellence for Tomorrow project, aimed at expanding STEM research and development in the region. The initiative also seeks to increase scholarships and fellowships and improve collaboration opportunities for students in Louisiana.
