WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) has revealed that the South Louisiana Electrical Cooperative Association (SLECA) is set to benefit from $1,908,607.93 in funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for the emergency reconstruction of substation access roadways damaged in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida.“Louisiana’s continued recovery from Hurricane Ida is a testament to our resiliency,” said Dr. Cassidy.The funding provided by FEMA is aimed at supporting south Louisiana in its efforts to rebuild and prepare for future natural disasters,...
