There were 289 students enrolled in Louisiana School for Math Science & the Arts District in the 2021-22 school year, 7.1% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Out of the total students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 65.7% of them were girls, and 34.3% were boys.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, representing 71.3% of the Louisiana School for Math Science & the Arts District total enrollment.

Louisiana School for Math Science & the Arts District covers approximately one school within Natchitoches Parish, with its main office in Natchitoches.

Louisiana School for Math Science & the Arts is the only school in the district, with 289 students.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021-22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
