There were 306 ninth grade students enrolled in Sabine Parish schools in the 2021-22 school year, 7.3% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Many High School welcomed the most ninth grade students in the parish.

Within Sabine Parish schools, the most students were found in 10th grade classes, while sixth grade classes were the smallest.

Statewide, Sabine Parish ranked 27th lowest in enrollment numbers, the same as the year before.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
