There were 53 American Indian students enrolled in Vernon Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Vernon Parish School District welcomed 7,937 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.7% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the district.
