There were 738 Hispanic students enrolled in Vernon Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 0.5% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Vernon Parish School District welcomed 7,937 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 9.3% of the student body to be the third most represented ethnicity in the district.

Vernon Parish School District roughly covers schools within Vernon Parish and has a main office in Leesville.

Among the 19 schools in Vernon Parish School District, Parkway Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 118 students.
