The Alexandria Fire Department responded to 119 Park Place Drive at 8:59 PM for a reported house fire. The first unit arrived on the scene within seven minutes of the initial alarm. AFD dispatched one engine company, one aerial company, a medical unit, one district chief unit, and a fire investigative unit. The fire was brought under control within seven minutes and there were no injuries reported. Investigators have determined the fire was caused by a lightning strike.
