The Alexandria Fire Department responded to 515 MacArthur Drive at 8:02 PM for an alarm activation due to smoke emitting from a roof-mounted air conditioning unit. The first unit arrived on the scene within four minutes of the initial alarm. AFD dispatched three engine companies, a medical unit, and two chief units.

It was determined that the smoke was water mist from a malfunctioning chiller.
