U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA), has issued a statement regarding President Joe Biden's proposal for the Supreme Court, labeling it as unconstitutional and radical.

"Just because you don’t like the results, doesn’t mean you can overthrow the Constitution," said Dr. Cassidy. "There’s a 0.0 percent chance of Joe Biden’s reforms happening, but it will 100 percent be the exclamation point on his legacy of vast overreach. I oppose this as should all constitutional conservatives."

The controversy centers around Biden's proposal to implement term limits for Supreme Court justices, which critics argue contradicts Article III of the Constitution that mandates lifetime appointments for justices. This provision was designed to shield the Court from political influence and maintain its status as an independent co-equal branch of government.
