U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA) announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) will grant Louisiana a total of $24,427,862 from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) for road safety infrastructure projects.
"Safer roads are one of the many ways the infrastructure bill is improving the quality of life for Louisianans," said Dr. Cassidy. "Addressing road safety helps us create a better environment for the families who rely on them now and for generations to come."
