U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy has announced that Louisiana is set to receive $77,362,266.55 in federal aid from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The funds are designated for relief efforts related to Hurricanes Ida, Laura, and Gustav.

"Years later, Louisiana is still recovering from these major hurricanes," said Dr. Cassidy. "This funding will return our communities to wholeness and prepare us for next storm."

The allocation of this substantial amount underscores ongoing recovery efforts in the state as it continues to deal with the aftermath of these natural disasters.
