U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy has issued a statement after the Senate confirmed Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. as Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. The confirmation follows Cassidy's previous vote to advance Kennedy's nomination in the Senate Finance Committee.

"We need to make America healthy again, and it is my expectation that Secretary Kennedy will get this done," stated Dr. Cassidy. He further expressed his anticipation of collaborating with Secretary Kennedy and the Trump administration in his role as chair of the HELP Committee to enhance healthcare for Americans.
