U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, representing Louisiana, has confirmed his acceptance of an invitation from President Trump to meet at the White House. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday and will include other members of the U.S. Senate Finance Committee.
"Both President Trump and Senate Republicans want to keep taxes low, reduce inflation, and grow our economy. I’m looking forward to discussing fiscally responsible ways to do that. I support the president’s agenda and will work to accomplish it," stated Dr. Cassidy.
The discussions are expected to focus on economic policies aimed at maintaining low taxes and reducing inflation.
