WASHINGTON – The Greater Lafourche Port Commission will receive $2,085,652.80 in federal funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to assist with hurricane relief efforts following the devastating impact of Hurricane Ida. U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) made the announcement, emphasizing the importance of ports to Louisiana's and the nation's economy.
